Changsha BYD Electronics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BYD Group, occupies a 260-mu (approximately 173,000㎡) site with a total construction area of 260,000㎡. As the largest electronics manufacturing facility in Hunan Province, it commenced operations in September 2019 and is projected to achieve an output value exceeding RMB 50 billion in the next three years. The factory serves as a crucial component of the Changsha Smart Terminal Industrial Park in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. Originally part of the Flextronics Changsha Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park, the project was taken over by BYD Electronics with China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. as the construction contractor.
